There is nothing better than a warm and flavourful bowl of fish soup. For most of us, fish soup is a go-to meal when we hit the food court or hawker centres during lunch break. This is a dish that we know we definitely can’t go wrong with.

Top 1 Home Made Noodle is one of the first stalls that will greet you when heading into Beauty World Food Centre. It is easy to understand what makes the food from this particular stall stand out from other fish soup noodles, their home-made noodles of course!

Just like other fish soup stalls, the ordering process is simple: pick your choice of noodles, your soup base (or dry), and your choice of ingredients. Top 1 Home Made Noodle offers a wide variety of noodles to choose from such as Home-made Noodle, Hand-made Fine Noodle, Hand-made Flat Noodle, Hand-made Mee Suah, Hand-made Bee Hoon, Hong Kong Mee and Yellow Egg Noodles.

In addition to that diners could choose from several soup bases, including Clear Soup, Tom Yam, Mala, or go Dry, and pick from ingredients like Prawns, Meat Balls, Fish and even Abalone!

We ordered the Sliced Fish Home Made Noodle (S$5), which was served to us with the usual suspects: home-made noodles, large pieces of fish, some greens, ikan bilis, and fried shallots in soup.

The first sip of the broth was absolutely satisfying, although the soup looked simple, it held so much flavour. Of course, the star of the show was the home-made noodles, and it was rightly so. The noodles were so delectably chewy and held a bite to it, it was a joy to munch on.

Top 1 Home Made Noodle checked off all the right boxes for home-made noodles and fish soup. This is definitely a stall you want to pay a visit to when you are at Beauty World Food Centre.
