Bedok 85 Fried Oyster Omelette – Amazing Orh Luak Available Until 2am Daily

Occupying two units in the renowned Bedok 85 Fengshan Centre, Oyster Omelette is one that sees immense crowds the minute it opens until closing. Dishing out a wide variety of local delights such as char kway teow and carrot cake, the stall is best known for their oyster omelette that is gooey, crispy and creamy all at the same time.
This dish is one hawker delight that many of us would order without hesitation at any hawker centre and is great for sharing. Open till 2am daily, this humble stall is a must-visit the next time you find yourself in Bedok in search for a solid supper.
Diners can get to choose between a medium (S$5) or large (S$8) portion. We opted for the smaller portion and considering its price point, this dish is absolutely value-for-money.
Expertly fried to perfection, ensuring that every piece of omelette has a golden brown crispy edge to it, the oyster omelette here boasts an amazing ‘wok hei’ aroma.
What we especially appreciate is how the omelette is fried until it is crisp on the outside yet isn’t cloyingly oily, making it oh-so-addictive.
Oyster lovers will be glad to know that these fresh, briny and plump goodnesses are serious business here. Dig in and you’d find a generous helping of fresh oysters that are aptly huge, adding an extra burst of briny flavours to the dish. The chilli here is not fiery at all but rather, sweet and tangy, further enhancing the flavours of the oyster omelette.
