Sure, they may not be lavish, let alone the sort of places you would ideally bring a date, but when you’re on a budget, who are you to complain? Here we have compiled a list of 12 places in Singapore under S$20 for you to feast like a king without breaking the bank. We’ve even thrown in a prata buffet for good measure!

Al Jasra will undoubtedly be a place carb-lovers will flock to. While S$7.90 may seem quite steep for prata, worry not for Al Jasra offers 16 different flavours of pratas to choose from. Savoury flavours include Cheese Prata and Egg & Onion Prata, while sweet options include Strawberry Prata and Honey Prata.
Think about it—a cheese prata at any other prata stall would already cost you S$2, so we reckon S$7.90 nett for a prata buffet is worth every penny! Do note that they do and will charge for any wasted or uneaten pratas so try not to go crazy with the orders.
