As part of the DBS Marina Regatta, DBS will launch Singapore’s first ever pop-up beach, with a pool, palm trees, South-East Asia’s biggest inflatable water slide and a beach bar. The beach spans an area of 50 by 50 metres and you can expect sports and activities such as stand-up paddling and yoga.
A whopping 28,000kg of sand was shipped in just to create this urban beach and the entire space can hold up to 250 guests. Rest assured that proper measures are put in place to ensure that the whole premise is safe.
The space is also open to public, hence you can take part in all the fun and activities during the two days of the event from 13 June to 14 June 2016.

The main highlight is definitely the huge inflatable water slide! How often do you get to slide down a giant slide, while catching a view of the Singapore skyline? For just S$10, you get to ride the slide 5 times. Also, it is good to know that all proceeds from this sale goes directly to SPD – a non-profit organization that helps people with disabilities.
Other activities and events you can look forward to include live performances from local artistes, sun-bathing on the beach, grabbing a drink from the beach bar, shopping at the Artisan container market, digging into delicious food from restaurants and cafes, and playing in zorb balls!
The beach will be located at The Promontory@Marina Bay from 13 June 2016 to 14 June 2016.
