Thirsty 4 Balls—Aesthetically-Pleasing Korean Billiard Bar With S$6 Nett Beer Bottles
Thirsty 4 Balls is a newly-opened Korean billiard bar situated at The Cathay. For those who don’t know, Korean billard is one of the most, if not the most, common leisure sport found in South Korea. We learnt from the Korean owner of Thirsty 4 Balls that in Korea, it is typical to find billiard bars on the 3rd or 4th storey of buildings, which is one of the reasons why they are located at Level 4 of The Cathay.
This Korean carom billiard bar screams aesthetic and Instagram-worthy pictures all over. From their pastel interior to their ‘Jacuzzi’ ball pit—which is literally a bathtub filled with balls—this place is the new hang out spot with your girlfriends and mates on your next chill night out!

WHAT IS KOREAN BILLIARD?
Korean billiard is played differently from the usual billiard—instead of using 16 balls, Korean billiard is played using only 4 balls and they have pocketless tables. It is known to be a game for experts at billiard to play should billiard get too easy for them. So why not challenge your friends to a game of Korean billiard and see who does it best?

Thirsty 4 Balls rents out their carom billiard tables at S$24 per hour, with a minimum of 30 minutes. Fret not if you aren’t sure about how to play this game, the Ahjusshi will be more than willing to lend you a helping hand!

While most of their current patrons are generally Koreans, we are excited to see Korean Billard picking up here in Singapore. Essentially an authentic Korean concept brought to Singapore by a Korean man and his Singaporean wife, Thirsty 4 Balls is definitely somewhere you can go to for great vibes and a fun chill out session.
