Teo’s Noodle — Hugely Popular Fishball Noodles Only A Stone’s Throw Away From Bedok MRT
One thing that we are sure that most Singaporeans can unanimously agree on is that there is nothing more comforting out there than a bowl of fishball minced meat noodles.
Teo’s noodle ticks off all the right boxes when it comes to that and their aim is to serve up solid bowls of fishball minced meat noodles at wallet-friendly prices. Their convenient location that is just a few minutes away from Bedok MRT station also makes them an ideal spot to get your hands on a promisingly awesome bowl when the cravings hit.
Like most fishball minced meat noodle places, they let you choose between dry or soup noodles. If you’re feeling a little fancier, you can also opt to have them add razor clams to your noodles to make your bowl of noodles a little more exciting.
We opted for the dry noodles (S$3) which came with a bowl of soup that was filled with a generous amount of ingredients such as fish balls, meatballs, minced meat, button mushrooms and fishcake.
The noodles itself were delightfully springy and didn’t get soggy fast. It was further enhanced by the chilli used which served to add a satisfying amount of heat to the dish without being too overwhelming. The noodles here also had a very nostalgic touch to it and reminded us of something we would have had from our childhood days.
We also appreciate how they did not hold back with the number of noodles they gave and the portion sizes here are perfect for people with massive appetites.
Despite it being a very no-frills stall, Teo’s Noodle hit all the right spots and has become one of our top few favourite places to get a fishball minced meat noodles in the Eastern region of Singapore. And yes, the queues are completely justified here! They are so popular that it is not uncommon for them to be sold out before 1pm, so if you plan to pay them a visit, we suggest that you head down earlier!
