Michelin Bib Gourmand 2019 – 58 Establishments Awarded, 12 New Entrants This Year

Michelin has unveiled that they have awarded 58 local establishments the Bib Gourmand Award in the Michelin Guide Singapore 2019, as compared to just 50 eateries last year. Out of the 58, 33 are hawker stalls, 19 are restaurants and six are street food establishments.

The Bib Gourmand is meant to recognise dining places of various cuisines serving exceptional food at moderate prices below $45. This year, there are also 12 new entrants:

2. Beach Road Fish Head Bee Hoon (Whampoa Makan Place)
3. Bedok Chwee Kueh (Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre)
4. Chef Kang’s Noodle House (Redhill Food Centre),
5. Chen’s Mapo Tofu (Redhill Food Centre),
6. Fu Ming Cooked Food (Redhill Food Centre)
7. Guan Kee Fried Kway Teow (Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre)
8. Hjh Maimunah (Jalan Pisang)
9. Hock Hai (Hong Lim) Curry Chicken Noodle (Bedok Interchange Hawker Centre)
10. Indocafe–The White House
11. Koh Brother Pig’s Organ Soup (Tiong Bahru Market)
12. To-Ricos Guo Shi (Old Airport Road Food Centre)

However, some favourites from last year didn’t manage to make the cut, including New Ubin Seafood (Bukit Batok), Rolina Traditional Hainanese Curry Puff (Tanjong Pagar Plaza Market & Food Centre), Shi Wei Da (Fengshan Market and Food Centre) and The Coconut Club.
