Spanning across a hundred metres long and 1.6 metres wide is the Coiling Dragon Cliff Skywalk, a new transparent glass-bottom bridge situated in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The scenic attraction is located in the Hunan Province of China and is a new destination to check out.

The new skywalk opened its doors to the public on 01 August 2016, and the winding walkway – surrounding the edge of the Tiananmen Mountain – offers visitors unrivalled sceneries of Zhangjiajie National Forest’s mountainous surroundings. The jaw-dropping view is clearly not for the fainthearted and we honestly hope you are not afraid of heights. Needless to say, this new bridge will definitely be a hit amongst adventurous explorers.

The newly unveiled Coiling Dragon Cliff Skywalk – characterised by 99 snaking turns and perched 4,600 feet above sea level – will either send shivers down your spine or have you on cloud nine. The thickness of the glass is only 6.3cm thick! Electrifying or terrifying? We will leave that up to you to decide.

The Tiananmen Mountain is also home to two other magnificent skywalks. One of which is the world’s longest glass-bottom bridge. We dare you to conquer them all! If these bridges are too scary to be conquered, you can still immerse yourselves in nature’s grandeur by riding in the world’s longest cable car.

With all these amazing features, it seems like Zhangjiajie National Forest is set to be the next IT vacation destination amongst outdoor lovers.
