This stall is almost 60 years old and we heard that the uncle has been selling Chwee Kueh ever since he was just 8 years old. They use aluminium moulds to shape their Chwee Kueh (more than 1000 of them each morning). The owners start off early in the morning to steam them and make their own homemade chilli and Cai Poh, ensuring that everything is MSG-free.

Their Chwee Kueh is indeed one of the best few out there! It had a soft and fluffy texture which complemented the radish very well. They do not add any sugar to their Cai Poh mixture, thus their Cai Po is leaning towards the salty side.

If you are a spice-lover, you would love to pair this amazing Chwee Kueh with their chilli! It was intense and spicy, adding a punch to the flavours of the delicious Chwee Kueh.
