Dubai To Unveil World’s Largest Indoor Theme Park This Month

There is much excitement in the air as everyone is discussing the latest attraction that is set to open in Dubai – which will be the world’s largest indoor theme park. Be ready to take on 20 fun rides and attractions, which includes live shows and a 5D cinema experience.

Escape the Arabian heat in this fully air-conditioned theme park – no need to queue under the sweltering hot sun for a go on the rides.

Encompassing a staggering 1.5 million-square feet worth of land, you can expect to see animatronic dinosaurs, ride on roller coasters and admire your childhood heroes from Marvel and Cartoon Network.

Thrill seekers should go on the Velociraptor coaster first, where the ride brings passengers to a misty rainforest called ‘The Lost Valley’. This ride goes at a speed of 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds on a 1.1km roller coaster, and it is the fastest and tallest roller coaster in Dubai.

If the fear factor is not high enough for you, head down to the haunted house where hunchbacked bellboys in uniform, shaking elevators, faint wavering lights and drooping corpses await your arrival.

The Marvel Zone is where you meet Spider-Man, Iron Man, Hulk, Captain America and more. Out of the five roller coasters in that area, the one you have to get on is the highly immersive 3D ‘Avengers: Battle of Ultron’ ride.

Other rides to look forward to are the Hulk Epsilon Base, where he battles against The Leader; Spider-Man Doc Ock’s Revenge which is a spinning roller coaster set against the New York skyline; and Thor Thunder Spin and Avengers Flight of the Quinjets, a slower ride that is suitable for the young ones.
