Capital 21 – JB’s Newest Mall With The World’s 5th Largest Indoor Theme Park

There is no denying it—Johor Bahru is every Singaporean’s go-to if one seeks endless fun, delicious and plentiful food and cheap thrills without spending a fortune.

Come 17 October 2018, JB will have a mall with an entire indoor theme park—the largest you can find in Southeast Asia—as well as over 1,600 retail stores and even daily circus performances.

Expect to see a huge 1.2 million square feet building, which will include MCM Studio—the largest indoor theme park in Southeast Asia—as well as a shopping complex which will be every shopaholic’s dream come true.

What’s more, Capital 21 is located just 20 minutes away from the Woodlands Checkpoint, making it another plus point that makes Capital 21 oh-so-attractive.

Capital 21 takes inspiration from Bangkok’s Terminal 21. Featuring 5 storeys that are each themed as a different continent—namely America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, guests will find themselves in an entirely different space with every level they go to.

Within the mall itself, you can find MCM Studio—an indoor theme park that is divided into 3 main sections—Movie Planet, Cartoon Planet and Music Planet.

Movie planet will be where you can find thrilling rides such as Transformers, Dinosaur World and even haunted houses, while Cartoon Planet caters more to children with their kiddy rides.

Lastly, Music Planet will be where a variety of circus, as well as musical and theatrical performances by internationally renowned names such as the Great British Circus, will take place.
