#1 Anchorpoint

Mention Alexandra Road and many will immediately think of IKEA Alexandra while neglecting the unassuming Anchorpoint mall that is just a street across. You may want to pop by this shopping centre because this is an outlet mall with many steals! With a wide variety of options, this is the place to go to for affordable clothes, fashion accessories, home decorating objects, confectionaries and even electronics.

There is usually no crowd, and fitting rooms are often free of queues. Some brands you can shop here are Charles & Keith, Pedro, Cotton On, Billabong, FOX and G2000. If you are looking for an item that is out of season, you may just find it here and get it at a discount of up to 70%!

#2 IMM

Even those who do not live in the West come all the way down to IMM as it is Singapore’s largest outlet mall. Want a pair of sports shoes but not ready to spend a huge amount of money? What about that winter jacket you have been intending to get for your skiing trip? Take your pick among the variety of stores at IMM.

Sports fanatics can spend the day comparing designs between Adidas, Nike, New Balance, Royal Sporting House, World Of Sports and more. #3 Jcube – J.Avenue

From the outside, Jcube looks just like an ordinary mall that is probably known for having an indoor Ice Skating rink. However, a section in the mall called J.Avenue has been modelled to look like a mini Bugis Street in the West.

The small shops that line up J.Avenue have prices that are as low as it can get, with most fashion apparels below S$25. Shop to your heart’s content as there are 90 new shops at that level.

#4 Jurong Point – Mongkok Street

One of the coolest neighbourhood malls that currently holds the title of being the largest suburban mall in Singapore, Jurong Point is one massive mall with everything under one (big) roof.

With a concept of bringing different countries together in one place, fashionistas should not miss out on the Mongkok street where shops have been designed to look alike those in Hong Kong, complete with flashy neon signboards. The prices are comparable to what you would find at Bugis Street.

#5 West Coast Plaza

If you appreciate some peace and quiet while shopping, West Coast Plaza is an option. It certainly does not come with crowds like that at IMM and Jurong Point!

You can also find B Concepts Outlet, Miki Outlet Store, Surfer’s Paradise Outlet and of course, Nike Factory Store! The best part is that the mall provides free shuttle bus service from Clementi MRT station. For bus timings, look here.
