10 Best Spots To Catch The F1 Grand Prix Race in Singapore

29 August
Singapore-Skyline

The annual F1 Grand Prix is coming again! Every September, this is something that gets fans all excited about. People from all over the world fly in to Singapore for the weekend races, but unfortunately, the tickets are snapped up fast and not all of us will have the privilege to catch them from the prime spots.

Nevertheless, there are some other options you can consider. From rooftop bars to public viewing areas, we have got all the best places to view the grand prix covered. We have rounded up some of the best hotel rooms, restaurants, bars, public areas in Singapore to give you the 10 Best Spots To Catch The F1 Grand Prix Race in Singapore.

Crowd levels are ranked from 1 (least crowded) to 5 (very crowded) for public places only, excluding private hotel rooms.

1-Altitude

#1 1-ALTITUDE

If you wish to view the F1 race from above (about 60 storeys high) over some drinks with your friends, 1-Altitude will give you a pretty unobstructed view. However, do not expect crisp and clear views of the track as you are pretty high up. Do call in advance to book a table to avoid long queues.

Helix-Bridge
#5 HELIX BRIDGE

Helix bridge is actually one of the best viewing spots but we want to give fair warning that it will be very, very crowded over the F1 weekend. It is a pedestrian bridge linking Marina Centre with Marina South in the Marina Bay area in Singapore. You can access it via the Esplanade side or from Marina Bay Sands by foot. So, go down at your own risk!

Lantern-2
#6 LANTERN, THE FULLERTON BAY HOTEL

The Lantern is one of our favourite places to chill and relax at with a drink. But come F1 season, the entire restaurant/bar will be filled with crowds of people wanting in on the action and to catch a glimpse of the fast cars so advance reservations are definitely required!
