The rise of Airbnb has offered travellers a diverse range of alternative accommodation and you can now live in the homes of locals. While most of us are used to seeing an entire apartment, a private room or a shared room… We are now seeing a unique series of lodging that we have never otherwise seen before.

When we say ‘unique’ – we are actually referring to the following: A handmade igloo, the back of a New York City yellow cab and a tiny shed located in the backyard of someone’s home. Stop pinching yourself. These options are actually for real! And now, we present to you: The 5 Most Ridiculous Airbnb Rentals.

#4 HANDMADE IGLOO

While nobody has actually stayed in this handmade igloo yet, we gotta salute the host for his cheeky audacity. A handmade igloo in Austria for S$88 per night with a 0.5 bedroom – we are not quite sure what he means, but for potential safety reasons we might encourage travellers to skip this.
