Mr Avocado Exotic Juice – The OG Avocado Juice at Alexandra Village Food Centre

Avocados are thought to be a millennial fad but Mr Avocado Exotic Juice at Alexandra Village Food Centre has been selling avocado shakes for almost 30 years now. While there are also a few other stalls selling avocado juice, Mr Avocado Exotic Juice claims to be the original.

It has its own following alright, as there was a snaking queue that spilled out of the hawker centre when we visited. If this isn’t an indication of its popularity, we don’t know what is.

At Mr Avocado Exotic Juice, only top-grade avocados are used. Blending the avocados with fresh and evaporated milk, the juice is sweetened with gula melaka. Our cup of Avocado Juice (S$3) was creamy and smooth with an unmistakable avocado taste – the perfect thirst quencher for a hot day.

The stall also offers more adventurous options for their avocado concoctions such as chocolate, coconut, honey and even durian! Apart from that, they have normal juices as well. If you have yet to try this drink unique to this hawker centre, we highly recommend you to do so!
